Trom 8 – All Road Madness

“Trom 8″ – so called swamp buggies new generation is capable of a lot of things. And why so you ask? Because this machine has a minimal body weight, excellent buoyancy, high ground clearance, excellent geometric cross, moves on wheels 160 cm each and most importantly – the ability to block transmission to give the wheel formula 8 x 8!

Unique transmission allows control of this impressive technology literally easy for even a beginner. The fact that the path of such a vehicle can vary widely in complexity, swamp buggies provide a powerful hydraulic steering. At the same time, Trom-8′s transmission is so awesome, that to break it, you have to try really really hard. She is able to get out from the water itself to any unprepared coast, including the floating grass, peat and the like, and can climb a vertical wall up to 1.5 meters high of any steep. Trom 8 is made of domestic parts and is repairable in the field.

Because of having an unusual drive, “Trom 8″ has its drawbacks. For example, its relatively slow. However the average rate of “Trom 8″ on the roads is much higher than that of other all-terrain vehicles on the tire. Still, this swamp buggy is not designed to compete with pneumatics, but rather with a light tracked vehicle. Last he excels in efficiency, environmental impact, penetration, ease of use, maintainability, reliability, and is second only to the buoyancy in the drawbar pull.
