This super-cool Toyota Land Cruiser ice sculpture was hand chiseled for the International Snow & Ice Festival in Perm, Russia. Created from a single giant hunk of ice, artists were able to not only form the exterior of a sub-zero SUV but also skillfully managed to create a full interior.
Accessible via a permanently open frozen door, the cabin has been upholstered in what appears to be mud and with the rear seats removed, well-wrapped up passers-by are able to spend some time chilling out in the freezing-cold four-door.
For a recent winter ice and snow celebration in the chilly city of Perm,Russia, somebody (presumably from Toyota), built this amazing ride entirely out of ice (plus a few red LEDs.)
In what possibly might be the best ice sculpture to have at a wedding ever, this is a full size Toyota Landcruiser carved out of a block of ice. It even has an open door so you can sit in it and make the steering wheel look even more like it was molded out of shit because people won’t stop touching it with their grubby mitts. I’d be a little afraid to sit in it myself, but that’s just because one time at a cousin’s wedding reception I saw a giant ice swan crack like a glacier and take out the flower girl. Your petal-scattering days are OVER.
The Toyota Land Cruiser is a pretty hot model around the world. But it took the Russians to make it cool. We have few hard, cold facts and only small slivers of information about these photos, but it seems the icy Toyota was part of the International Snow & Ice Festival in Perm, Russia.
Artists took a huge chunk of ice and shaved it down to the temporary art installation you see here. The sub-zero SUV comes complete with a full interior accessed by the (permanently frozen open) driver’s side door. The steering wheel and seats look to be upholstered in, well, dirt. With the back seats removed, the frigid four-door is a pretty slick ride in which to chill out.
