f you were upset about Porsche not announing any new goodies at this year’s Geneva Motor Show, there’s some very good news from Germany.
Not from Stuttgart, but from Leonberg-based tuning company TechArt, who will be joining the Swiss event to debut their latest Porsche 911 Carrera 4S. It has performance written all over it, it’s Emerald Green (just how we like it), and there’s a big batch of photos to be seen right now.
Promoted as a tribute to the Porsche models of the 1970s, the TechArt-tweaked Carrera 4S comes with an aerodynamic kit that includes a front spoiler, ducktail spoiler, revised side skirts, rear diffuser and a big GT3-like wing. A racing exhaust system with valve control is also available, while optionals mean a Noselift System, which you can use to ride over those nasty speed bumps, and a variety of light alloy wheels.
The interior is also equipped according to TechArt standards and the Emerald Green can be found in the cockpit as decorative stitching and dashboard/gear shifter console trims. As you might expect, almost everything is covered in black leather and Alcantara.
The 2013 Geneva Motor Show will debut on March 5 and this green monster will be expecting you at the TechArt stand.
Following a preview earlier this month, TechArt has released some new pictures of their Porsche 911 Carrera 4S.
Set to debut at the Geneva Motor Show, the Emerald Green model has an aerodynamic body kit with a front spoiler, revised side skirts and a black-painted hood. There’s also a ducktail spoiler, a rear diffuser and a prominent wing. The model has also been equipped with a racing exhaust system that has dual center-mounted tailpipes and valves that can be opened or closed to give the car a “sonorous and throaty” exhaust note.
Customers can also order a Noselift System – that can the raise the front end by 60mm to assist in going over speed bumps – as well as a variety of 20- and 21-inch light alloy wheels.
Inside, the cabin can be equipped with color-matching trim, decorative accent stitching and a three-spoke steering wheel. TechArt also offers matte black paddle shifters and color-matching instrument cluster gauge inserts.
