Lamborghini has released the first photos of its open top Veneno supercar. The roadster features a permanently open roof which could prove to be an issue if it started to drizzle. Both the coupe and the roadster feature the same 740hp 6.5-liter v12 engine paired to a sequential manual gearbox and permanent all-wheel-drive.
Any owners will be obliged to test the performance of the Veneno Roadster, hitting 100km/h (62mph) in just 2.9 seconds and reaching a top speed of 354km/h (220mph) – (All with no roof of course)
While only 3 Lamborghini Veneno Coupes were produced, the Italian manufacturer will produce 9 of the Veneno Roadster at a modest $5.3 Million USD.
In March, came the new Lamborghini Veneno supercar and today we come across first images of the open-top Roadster version of the car.
The Roadster actually does not come with any kind of top, meaning that it is permanently open and therefore a pure summer car. Just like the Coupe, this version of the car features the internals of the Aventador sharing the same 740 hp (750PS) 6.5-liter V12 engine and going from 0-100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds with a top speed of 354km/h (220mph).
The Coupe is limited to only three and the Lamborghini Veneno Roadster will apparently be produced a total of nine times with the price tag set at U.S. $5.3 million and €3.9 million.
It turns out there were people who looked at the ultra extreme, four-off, $4.6 million Lamborghini Veneno from earlier this year and said “Um, that’s nice… but what else ya got?”P
