It is what it says. A collection of Dodge Charger Artworks in various mediums. Some of these are Pencil Drawings, some are digital paintings, some are 3D renders and others are vectors or Photographs. All the artists have been provided with the credits.
There have been several different Dodge vehicles, built on three different platforms and sizes, all bearing the Charger nameplate. The name is generally associated with a performance model in the Dodge range. The three main iterations of Dodge Chargers were a mid-sized (B-body) two-door car from 1966 to 1978, a subcompact (L-body) car from 1983 to 1987, and the (LX and LY) full-sized platform four-door sedans built since 2006.
There are a lot of Artworks based on Dodge Charger and here are some of the best of them:

sweet decline
the sadness of your smile
i care not to see
whatever lies within me
you look away
i bury myself deep
these hoards of passion
this sadness is me
machine, man and gasoline
heart burning at slow speed
have not, never seen
no believe in my belief

Wow, this one took a lot of time!
So far, I think this is one of my favourite pieces I have ever done in my life.
I will most likely make a poster print of this to sell at the cons this year.
I’ll repost the explanation from the pencil sketch description:
This is the pencil sketch that will be auctioned off at the upcoming Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo in April 2008. All the proceeds of all the pieces to be auctionned will go to charity for kids.
The theme is supposed to be someting to do with the west. The west that I chose was in Alberta, which has a similar arid climate to Texas, but Alberta also has mountains. Oil is also found in abundance in this province and as a result they have no state/provincial tax.
But rather than do another pic with guns and such, which everyone did last year i took a different approach.
One thing you find a lot of in Alberta is very well preserved old cars. Why? Well for one, in winter they use gravel opposed to salt to deal with snow. Salt is only really good till -10°c so once it goes down to -35°c then you just have to dump gravel on the snow to give it grip. My favourite muscle car is the 1970 Dodge Charger, yes the “Dukes of Hazzard” car (which was a 1969 and had slightly different bumper), it is just so badass.
One cute girl in cowboy hat and pretty dress, check. Prairie and some mountains, check.
Ok so whats with the AC plug in her hand? Well, I wanted to encourage an idea of going “green”, but it doesn’t mean it has to be dorky. So why not an electric muscle car, i am allowed to imagine. Afterall, there are electric trains, and other powerful vehicles. Maybe some mechanic will attempt to build one!
“GRNCHRGR” means to say “Green Charger”. Yes the pun was intended. I guess it really would be a ‘Charger’ in this case! Electric car, charger, get it?
Wind turbines are in the BG to also encourage further other sources of energy. We have a giant one of these in Toronto by the lake. Wind is free, just like the sun, when I get a house i will totally have solar panels on the roof. Free energy is a good thing. Alberta has plenty of sun and wind.
I will be colouring this one, but the auctioned piece will be the pencil drawing. i will make a print of the colour version I am thinking.
Size: 28cm X 43cm (11″ X 17″)
BW: 2H pencil

Time to Draw: 4 hours total work rough to final linearts
Time to Colour: 1.5 days (Lots of clean up and details)

There is a long description on my site about this image but the main points are that I already know ideas surrounding the Charger are similar to what I’ve created here, but as far as I can tell i’m one of few to follow through and probably one of even fewer, if any, to use Illustrator. This is the only modern or late model car I’ve ever drawn but there will be more. There is zero Photoshop work in most of my automotive art (though there will be more eventually just not in this one) and for the most part I only use the linear and circle gradient tools. I put the outline on this car as a trial as well. I’ve been doing it on occasional cars for a long time by drawing a new shape in the background, however, having discovered many “toon” like drawings done in Photoshop where the black line is necessary to “hide” shapes behind, I thought I’d try using it for similar reasons. I like it pretty well but I won’t be using it all the time.
